The business name registered with our payment processor Paddle is Flowent. Hereinafter “Flowent", “we" or “us".

Allocation of roles: Flowent is the provider and licensor of the CleanPick Dev software. The seller under the purchase agreement and Merchant of Record is Paddle, acting as an authorized reseller (see § 5). Your contracting party for the purchase agreement is therefore Paddle; your licensor for the use of the software is Flowent.

2. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the CleanPick Dev software as well as to all paid orders initiated via the website (Pro, Lifetime and Team). Conflicting terms are hereby rejected unless we expressly agree to them.

3. Product Description

CleanPick Dev is a locally running browser extension (“color picker") for developers. It picks colors from the screen and exports them as a Tailwind v4 theme variable, utility class, OkLCH or RGB, generates harmonic color scales, checks WCAG contrast and exports W3C/DTCG design tokens. The software works local-first and stores data exclusively locally in the browser.

  • Free: free of charge — HEX & RGB, unlimited, full base feature set.
  • Pro: subscription (monthly or annually) — unlocks all premium formats (Tailwind v4, OkLCH, harmonic shades, W3C token export), 1 device activation.
  • Lifetime: one-time purchase — permanent premium access including all future updates, 1 device activation.
  • Team: annual subscription — like Pro, with 5 device activations.

4. Conclusion of Contract & Ordering

The presentation of the products does not constitute a binding offer. By completing the purchase at checkout, you submit a binding offer. The purchase agreement is concluded with Paddle as Merchant of Record (see § 5); the right to use the software (license) is granted to you by Flowent. The contract languages available are English and German.

5. Seller & Merchant of Record (Paddle)

The seller and Merchant of Record (merchant) for all paid orders is:

Paddle.com Market Ltd., Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom.

Paddle acts as an authorized reseller and Merchant of Record and handles the sale, payment, invoicing and the remittance of any applicable VAT. Your contracting party under the purchase agreement is therefore Paddle; Flowent remains the licensor of the software. The purchase process is additionally governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. For questions regarding payment or invoicing, you can contact Paddle or us (support@flowent.de).

6. Pricing

  • Free: $0.
  • Pro: $3.99/month or $24/year (subscription).
  • Lifetime: $59 (one-time purchase).
  • Team: $49/year (subscription, 5 activations).

All prices in US dollars. The final prices including any applicable VAT as well as any local taxes are shown at Paddle checkout. Subscriptions (Pro, Team) renew automatically — see § 7a; Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew.

7. License & Usage Rights

By purchasing a paid plan you receive a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use CleanPick Dev — for Pro/Team for the term of the subscription, for Lifetime permanently after the one-time payment. After purchase you receive by email a license key (PREMIUM-XXXX) for activation (Pro/Lifetime: 1 device, Team: 5 devices). Prohibited in particular are the resale or transfer of license keys, the reverse engineering as well as any use that violates applicable law.

7a. Term, auto-renewal & cancellation

Pro (monthly/annually) and Team (annually) are subscriptions. They renew automatically after the end of the chosen term for the same period at the then-applicable price, until they are cancelled. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period — via the management link in your Paddle confirmation email or informally by email to support@flowent.de. After cancellation, access remains in place until the end of the period already paid for; no pro-rata refund of the current period is given (your statutory rights and our 30-day guarantee under § 8 remain unaffected). Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no recurring billing — there is nothing to cancel.

8. Right of Withdrawal (14 days) & voluntary money-back guarantee (30 days)

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days (see the Right of Withdrawal notice below). Independently of this — and in addition to it — we voluntarily grant a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. Details on the procedure can be found in our Refund Policy.

Right of Withdrawal notice (consumers)

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of conclusion of the contract. To exercise your right of withdrawal, a clear statement is sufficient (e.g. by email to support@flowent.de).

Note on digital content: For fully supplied digital content, the statutory right of withdrawal lapses if you have expressly agreed that we may begin performance before the expiry of the withdrawal period, and you have confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee remains unaffected by this.

9. Obligations of Users

You undertake not to use the software improperly, not to circumvent any security mechanisms and not to create or distribute any unlawful content.

10. Warranty & Availability

The software is provided with due care. Uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors cannot be guaranteed. The statutory warranty rights apply.

11. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. In the case of simple negligence, we are liable only for the breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation) and limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Otherwise, liability is excluded.

12. Changes to these Terms & Conditions

We may amend these Terms & Conditions with effect for the future, provided this is necessary and users are not thereby unreasonably disadvantaged. The current version in each case is available on this page.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected. To the extent permitted (in particular vis-à-vis merchants), the place of jurisdiction is Freiburg im Breisgau.

14. Dispute Resolution

Information on EU online dispute resolution and on consumer dispute resolution can be found in our Legal Notice (Imprint).

15. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these Terms & Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
